Leatherworking is in my blood. My great great grandfather was a saddler and although it skipped a few generations, the crafstman gene found me and since 2011 I’ve been creating amazing things using leather.
After running my own graphic design and photography studio for ten years and being the sort of obsessively creative person who likes to try EVERYTHING, one day I got the urge to make a leather bound book. I'd never made one before so I began researching the best techniques and challenged myself to make one. Within a few weeks I had a long list of orders and Black Orchard Leather was born. I've expanded into using a wide variety of materials in my creations including metal, wood, paper and fabrics and now offer custom commissions.
